Shake it up

Gorgeous day in the city. The BF and I walked around and indulged in a little shake shack. Love the burgers there! Went casual today, which is why I look so short LOL. You readers may have noticed that my partner in crime Michelle hasn't posted in a while. She's good, she's just preparing for her trip to Venezuela to visit her family :) Hope everybody had a great weekend!


Hermoso día en la ciudad.Mi novio y yo nos fuimos a dar una vuelta en la misma y se nos antojo un batido así que no lo pensamos dos veces.El día de hoy me fui bastante casual lo cual puede ser la razón que me vean mucho mas bajita en estas fotos lol. Mis queridas lectoras tal vez han notado que mi companera en crimen Michelle ha estado ausente y les cuento que se encuentra bien solo que bastante ocupada con lo de su próximo viaje a Venezuela ya que estará visitando a su familia =) Espero que todos tengan un lindo fin de semana .

Highs and Lows

One trend I am loving right now is the high low skirt or asymmetric. It was kind of tricky at first, trying to figure out what to wear with it. Whenever I am having fashion issues I turn to Michelle, she helped pick out this outfit via text :) hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!


Una de las tendencias que me tiene super enamorada es de las faldas con cortes asimétricos.Al principio fue un poco difícil el tratar de escoger el top con que la usaría.Cada vez que me encuentro en una situación como esta sin pensarlo dos veces acudo a Michelle, y sin duda alguna ella me ayudo a decidirme por esta combinacion vía tex =) Espero que todas estén disfrutando de su fin de semana.

90's Kid

The other day I had a flashback of how I used to dress as a kid. I was definitely a fearless dresser. I loved bright colors and mixing prints, I even had a troll doll shirt that had real hair. It was my favorite! One of my favorite trends was the grunge look. I was a 90's kid, so I was majorly influenced by this look. I wore alot of babydoll dresses with combat boots and of course I couldn't leave the house without my tiny backpack. So, I put together a more grown up outfit of my signature look. What were some trends that you used to wear as a kid?



El otro día estaba recordando como me vestía cuando estaba pequeña, sin duda alguna era una de esas chicas que no tenia miedo a la hora de vestirse.Me encantaban los colores fuertes y la mezcla de estampados,hasta llegue a tener una de esas camisetas de "Troll Doll" con cabello de verdad.Era mi favorita! Una de mis tendencias favoritas era la "grunge look" donde se mezcla lo femenino con un toque rockero ,usaba vestidos babydoll con botas militares y no podía faltar mi bulto pequeño de color negro.Así que el día de hoy inspirada es esta tendencia que adoraba tanto he creado este atuendo un poco mas maduro.Cuales son las tendencia que te gustaba ponerte cuando eras mas pequeña??

Rock that Piece

Hello my lovely ladies! Today I bring you a different kind of post. Its about this new segment on the blog called "Work that piece" that Kristina and I have created for you .We thought it would be a great idea and useful for all of you that like us, love to wear your favorites pieces over and over giving them a different look. Outfit Inspo: Red and Pink

I look at so many blogs and lately I have been noticing alot of red and pink combos. I am still easing into wearing colors, especially more than one color, but I absolutely love the way these two colors look together. Equal parts sexy and sweet, red and pink can be very fashionable when done correctly. Since I don't have many red or pink items in my wardrobe, this is my take on this colorful trend. What do you think, is it a hit or a miss??



En los últimos día he estado visitando diversos blogs y he notado muchos combos de color rojo y rosado.Aunque todavia estoy tratando de acostumbrarme a usar colores quise tratar mas de uno a la vez.Me encanta como estos dos colores se ven juntos , es una combinacion de dulzura y sensualidad a un mismo tiempo. El rojo y el rosado puede lucir bastante a la moda cuando se hace correctamente. Como yo no tengo muchas prendas de estos colores en mi armario, aqui les dejo mi versión con esta combinación . Que les parece ?

Neon

Neon has been so in lately that I really wanted to get something in this color. I was about to until one day when I was organizing my closet and found this old button down shirt I forgot I had. The great thing about this, is that the shirt is a neon color =) isn't this great!! This means I'm going to keep some money in my pockets since I don't have to go shopping for it . I paired it with my faux leather pants that you guys know I LOVE. I wanted to wear my black booties but I wanted to make it more fun so I put on my brown booties and this is how it ended up.






El tono Neón ha estado  bastante a la moda en estos últimos días, yo estaba por comprarme algo de este color cuando organizando miarmario me encontré con esta camisa que ya ni me acordaba que tenia, Lo fantástico del asunto es que la camisa es de un tono NEON, Siiii lo que quiere decir que me estaré ahorrando un dinerito =).La quise combinar con mis pantalones de cuero que como ya saben adoro.Pensé en ponerme botines negros pero quería darle al look un toque mas divertido así que me puse mis botines color marrón y este es el resultado.
